Terms of Use

Last updated: July 2026

1. Who you're contracting with

These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Strollo ("Strollo", "we", "us"), the provider of the Strollo self-guided walking tour service (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction, or have the authority to bind the organization on whose behalf you are using the Service.

3. What the Service is

Strollo suggests self-guided walking routes based on your location, time, and preferences. Routes, opening hours, and points of interest come from third-party data sources and may not always be accurate or up to date.

4. Payments and subscriptions (Merchant of Record)

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Stripe. Stripe is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Stripe provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment terms, billing, taxes, subscription renewals, cancellations, and refunds are governed by Stripe's Buyer Terms. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time via the customer portal or by contacting Stripe at billing.stripe.com.

See our Refund Policy for details on refunds.

5. Intellectual property

The Service, its software, design, branding, and content are owned by Strollo or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes within the plan you have subscribed to. You must not copy, redistribute, reverse engineer, scrape, or resell any part of the Service.

6. Acceptable use

  • Do not use Strollo unlawfully or to harass, defraud, or harm others.
  • Do not attempt to probe, scan, or breach the security of the Service.
  • Do not scrape, mirror, or extract data at scale.
  • Do not infringe intellectual property or share malware.
  • Keep your account credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account.

7. Walk safely — your responsibility

You are walking in the real world. Please:

  • Stay aware of your surroundings — don't stare at your phone while crossing.
  • Follow local traffic laws, signs, and customs.
  • Check the weather and dress accordingly.
  • Trust your instincts — if a street feels unsafe, take a different one.
  • Tell someone where you're going if you're walking alone.

Strollo is a planning aid, not a guarantee. We are not responsible for accidents, injuries, getting lost, or any consequence of following a suggested route. Use your own judgement.

8. Service availability and warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from or related to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages (including loss of profits, data, or goodwill). Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence, where such limitation is prohibited by law.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay, present a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly violate our policies. You may stop using the Service at any time. On termination, your right to use the Service ends, and we may delete your data in line with our Privacy Notice.

11. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update the Service or these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at Strollo's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law grants you additional rights.
